Hand Art

Hands say a lot about a person and no two hands are ever the same. Obviously we’re all about telling stories with our hands through jewelry. But let’s talk about the permanent jewelry, hand tattoos!
Whether minimal or extravagant, designs & patterns on hands are so eye catching and we really appreciate the bandits who go all out with permanent hand art. Especially when they co-exist with gorgeous jewelry! Not down with the forever hand ink? Go the temporary route with hennas, which last from one to two weeks.
Check out these major swoon worthy hands and don’t forget to show us your hand swag with 2B gems by hash tagging #the2bandits on Instagram!

The Bandit team recently went to Tuscon, AZ for the annual Gem and Mineral show. I was still floored even though it was my second year going. There were Gems and Minerals all along the highways outside the motels..truly inspiring and some real eye candy for sure! When I think crystals and desert, it translates into crushed velvet and top hats. To me, thats quite the heady combo.

Rosendale Street Festival

The Grateful Dead has been a huge part of my life. Ever since the age of 7 , they have been the soundtrack to my life. Starting high school, I fell in love with the festival life, selling patchwork and hemp necklaces out of the back of my car. Why my parents allowed it? Yikes! They always pushed me to explore creative outlets. Camping at festivals is like no other, I’m not talking about Cochella or Bonaroo, I’m talking about real down to earth, free spirited festivals that don’t get fashion coverage.

To all you DeadHeads out there, you can tell by now I use names of Dead songs in all my collections.   Fun fact: When I was in 7th grade, we had to pick one person to rule the world for art class and make art out of it. I made a globe with dancing bears around it with a tie dyed background. In the middle it said, WWJD, What Would JERRY do.

Even though Jerry isn’t around anymore, I still go to FURTHER when they play here in SF. Forever Grateful.
